Ask Zach Inc. was founded in the spring of 2001. With the encouragement and the use of his credit card his brother Alex, Zach bought the domain name AskZach.com. (Alex, I think I still owe you $36 –Z) The first website was a parody of Ask Jeeves. It was set up to allow people ask Zach questions and the answer would be a random website. (Usually a very strange one at that) The website was never fully finished. After a couple of years of being neglected a new site was born. This new site had a much cleaner look to it and actually functioned. Then in 2004 Ask Zach Inc. went bankrupted. Luckily, the accountant who managed the company’s liquidation of assets negated to undo the automatic payments for the domain name. The domain name somehow ended up in the possession of Rusty Shackleburg. (Pioneer of the sale of Whoopee cushions through the internet) He placed the domain on sale to fund his opium addiction. (He is now out of rehab and doing well, thanks for asking) There were several offers on the domain name. A new buyer ZOL was found. ZOL relaunched the website in the summer of 2006 under the newly formed company ZC Industries. The new website allows users to actually ask Zach questions that are then answered as soon as possible.

Do to the hard economic times we are not currently hiring anyone for money, but are more than willing to get some free labor in the form of interns. We will give you academic credit for doing work we would normally pay someone for, but you get experience, credit and something to put on your resume. So everyone is a winner.
